YouTube Monetization disabled and re-enabled!

L ike many small time YouTube creators, I also got an email in January 2018 about changes to the YouTube Partner Program (YPP)  regarding changes new threshold of 4,000 hours of watchtime within the past 12 months and 1,000 subscribers. The revenue wasn't much but it was good to get some revenue from the little effort made in creating some videos. Google Adsense Auto Ads not working on Blogger blogs

Google recently introduced Auto Ads to allow Google to automatically publish ads on websites. The advantage for website owner is the ease of Google Adsense implementation, ad optimization as Auto ads will identify any available ad space and place new ads there, potentially increasing your revenue. How to disable country specific redirection of Blogger Blogspot sites?

I f you are using Blogger Blogspot, you might have noticed that Google redirects Blogger Blogspot sites to country specific URLs. For example, if I open this blog whose URL is techubber.blogspot.com, it gets redirected to techubber.blogspot.in, since I am from India. Similarly, a visitor from UK would see techubber.blogspot.co.uk and so on. You can find the reason from this update here why Google chose to implement country specific domain. In a nutshell, Google implemented country specific domains so that is a site need to be blocked in a certain country but made available on others.  But for bloggers, it creates issues especially with social stats like Tweet counts, Google+, Facebook Likes and even Facebook comments. Now, one thing I wanted to change in the new Blogger theme I have applied on this site was to display labels expanded. Yes, the new Blogger theme show all the labels collapsed. Free Responsive Mobile Menu Plugin For WordPress

WordPress Plugin for responsive menu With the increasing use of mobile phones, there is a lot of importance now on responsive web design. In the recent years, there is a lot of emphasis on responsive web design, so that the experience on mobile devices is smooth and user friendly. Keeping that in mind, it is better to have a responsive menu for mobile users instead of the default menu layout even for our WordPress sites. Luckily, there are responsive menu plugins out there for WordPress! There may be a lot out there, but in this post, we'll see one particular WordPress plugin that will enable responsive menu for mobile devices for a WordPress website.
