YouTube Monetization disabled and re-enabled!

L ike many small time YouTube creators, I also got an email in January 2018 about changes to the YouTube Partner Program (YPP)  regarding changes new threshold of 4,000 hours of watchtime within the past 12 months and 1,000 subscribers. The revenue wasn't much but it was good to get some revenue from the little effort made in creating some videos. Unfortunately, my channel did not meet the subscriber threshold though watch time was alright. So, as per the new rules, monetization was set to be disabled. Read more »

Best Ten Songs Of The Musical Trio Called Fastball

Similarly, as the fastball reliably achieved 100 miles for each hour in Major League Baseball games of the past half decade, the musical gang by a similar name of that pitch went for all intents and purposes unnoticed. The trio had a few immense hits in the late nineties, however, they had not discharged another collection since Little White Lies in 2009. The band has at long last assembled another plate, Step Into Light, which will be discharged this mid year. Until the point that that record turns out, Fastball's fans should be content with tuning in to the best from their past records, for example, these ten from the initial three collections. G.O.D. from All the Pain That Money Can Buy The title letters have nothing to do with religion or most profound sense of being, however, is rather an acronym for Good Old Days. Bassist Tony Scalzo does the lead vocals on the melody he composed amid a spell of wistfulness. Love Doesn't Kill You from The Harsh Light Of Day Elvis Costello is a conspicuous effect on this reward track, whose tune is much excessively sprightly for a melody about death. Out of My Head from All the Pain That Money Can Buy Despite the fact that it was the second single from the presentation record, this tune turned into the band's greatest hit on the graphs. Seattle from Make Your Mama Proud Washington's biggest city had been developing into a melodic Mecca as the twentieth century slowed down, thanks in extensive part to Kirt Cobain and Nirvana's grunge development. After this tune hardened the city's status, it was taken after into the new century by groups, for example, Owl City and Death Cab For Cutie. No place Road from All the Pain That Money Can Buy Scalzo again makes a fun tune to occupy from the expressive topic of a relationship that has failed. You're An Ocean from The Harsh Light of Day While the illustration could be taken as a compliment or an affront, the subject of this track can unquestionably feel complimented at whatever point she hears it. Bank from Make Your Mama Proud A harried person is asking for cash in this tune, and the song is sweet to the point that you couldn't in any way, shape or form deny him a couple of bucks. The Way from All the Pain That Money Can Buy Senior residents getting away from a nursing home are the subjects of this gigantic hit, the trio's initial single. Its prosperity was supported by an inventive video with an exceptional bounce. Is it true that you are Ready For the Fallout? from Make Your Mama Proud There was much-discussed devastation as Y2K drew nearer, inviting melodies like this one about what was to come. Love Is Expensive and Free from The Harsh Light of Day In light of the title here, the tune may have been more qualified for the introduction collection. All things considered, it wound up being one of the features from the third record.

Health Care and Consumer Driven Plans

Americans like choice. We like that our freedom allows us to make lifestyle decisions for where we live, what car we drive, where we go to church, and what type of health coverage we want. Health care in the U.S. continues to be challenged from every corner--including members from Congress, individual consumers, politicians at every level, business owners, and HR professionals. Many surveys have been taken to find out what are the most important aspects of choosing a plan that works best for the individual consumer. The selections are myriad when it comes to various parts of the country, the demographics related to specific regions, the costs associated with all the available plan designs, and a host of other criteria. Yet with all the numerous options for health care available in the market place, the bottom line issues related to choice come down to cost and availability. How much will I pay when I purchase the health plan, and where can I use it? This is especially true when small ...

Health Care and the Average Josephine

The Average Josephine in the America feels that health care is an automatically inherent right to be awarded simply because she lives in the United States. Merriam-Webster's online dictionary gives us the definition of what inherent means--"involved in the constitution or essential character of something : belonging by nature or habit." However, as much as health care has become the current political football this year in the race for the Presidency in 2008, we must realize that free or universal health care is not free. Someone has to pay for it, and the American taxpayer is the one on the hook to pay the bill. As I mentioned in the previous blog, health care is a privilege, not a right. Many people feel that they deserve to have some form of health care and not have to pay for it, or perhaps are entitled to health care at a radically reduced rate (if not free)--paid for by the government, such as Medicaid. One of the reasons that health care has become so outrageously e...
